In 1966 werd het bedrijf opgericht door de familie Karlowski-Danckers onder de naam OUTIMAT BVBA.
In 1980 werd het bijhuis Outimat Oostende geopend om toe te laten het cliënteel uit de streek beter en sneller te kunnen bedienen. De firmanaam werd veranderd in OUTIMAT-DRILFIX BVBA.
Outimat-Drilfix voert voor 70% in uit het Verre Oosten en Japan en voor 30% uit de Europese Gemeenschap. De verkoop is vooral gericht op België (60%). De rest wordt uitgevoerd naar de Europese Gemeenschap en buiten Europa.

In 1966, the company was founded in Ghent by the family Karlowski-Danckers under the name OUTIMAT BVBA.
In 1980, the agency Outimat Oostende was openen to serve better our costumers in this area.
Later the company name changed into OUTIMAT-DRILFIX BVBA. Outimat-Drilfix imports 70% from the Far East and Japan and 30% from the European Community. Sales are divided as follows: 60% on the Belgium market and the rest in the European Community and outise Europe.

La société OUTIMAT BVBA a été fondée à Gand en 1966 par les époux Karlowski-Danckers.
En 1980 une succursale fut ouverte à Ostende afin de servir la clientèle de la région mieux et plus rapidement. La société changeait de dénomination et allait s'appeler OUTIMAT-DRILFIX BVBA.
Outimat-Drilfix est imoteur de 70% de son matériel du Japon et de l'extrème Orient et 30% de la Communauté Européenne et hors d'Europe.
